About the Event
Boasting an array of local and regional wineries, eateries and live music, TASTE is the Robert Mondavi Institute’s annual fundraising event. Robert and Margrit Mondavi believed that great wine, music and art enhance our quality of life—TASTE celebrates all three!
This year, we proudly celebrate the 25th anniversary of the landmark gift from Robert and Margrit Mondavi—a transformational legacy of giving that continues to shape UC Davis and inspire generations. Their extraordinary vision established the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, strengthened the Departments of Viticulture and Enology and Food Science and Technology, and created the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. Twenty-five years later, their impact lives on through groundbreaking discoveries, exceptional student learning, world-class teaching and research, vibrant cultural experiences, and innovations that continue to shape the future of food, wine, and agriculture.
We welcome you to the 13th Annual TASTE on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

TASTE tickets will go on sale September 21 at 1:00 pm.
Become a TASTE Vendor
We welcome you to showcase your restaurant, winery, brewery, or specialty food product to commemorate this landmark gift. To join, please fill out the vendor form to secure your space. We anticipate 300+ attendees.
Student Volunteers Needed
