Introduction to Olive Milling

Event Date

During this two-day intensive class hosted by the UC Davis Olive Center, you will learn all the considerations and principles of milling to produce high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oils. This class is directed to producers considering starting their olive oil milling operation, new or current mill owners wanting to refresh or improve their knowledge, and anyone in the public interested in understanding the details of how olive oil is made. Mill visits will follow lectures and theory in the region, where equipment and processes will be evaluated in detail.
